Happy to share this video of my friend Yussra’s presentation at a recent Creative Mornings event in Kittery, Maine. Yussra publishes essays, videos, poetry, and sometimes cartoons on her substack “With Struggle Comes Liberation.” Her unique perspectives as a Muslim woman and an Iraqi American clinical psychologist are valuable as she examines our collective guilt and complicity and also our resistance to U.S. funded wars and genocide.
