Lisa, I couldn’t agree more about ranking Jill first for our Maine vote for President. My question is who you will rank second? Personally I won’t bother with a second choice.
I will probably rank De La Cruz 2nd and possibly even the Libertarian candidate 3rd to contribute to their continued ballot access as a party (which Maine consistently tries to suppress). Won't rank the genocide parties' candidates at all.
Lisa, that was intense and powerful. Once I woke up to the genocidal DNA of the country of my birth, I have rejected it all. I am so angered and sad that so many of the people of the USA, including long-time, good friends, and even family, do not object to this country's genocidal wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. I don't accept the excuse some offer when they say, "but, there's nothing I can do about it."
Re this shameful farce they call an election, I am so happy that I am not living there to suffer through it. People here know the outcome will change nothing. I completely agree. But, I believe we are witnessing the rapid collapse of the white, European colonial empire. The rest of the world knows and understands that the old world order has been surpassed by a new world order which one can clearly see in the fast evolving BRICS+ movement. Later this month, here in Kazan, Russia, dozens of new members will be added, with many more wannabees waiting in line. Top of the agenda? Dedollarization which will spell the end of American hegemony and the collapse of the US and western economies.
But, what troubles me most is how the US/UK empire will react to losing their control and dominance of the planet. Their response to that reality could spell the end of life on the planet. Given their penchant for this unhinged genocide in Ukraine and the Middle East, and using that terrible, evil weapon in 1945, I believe they are capable on doing it. And NOBODY is paying attention to that.
