thank you as always for this.

Have you seen reviews of the new German film (dramatization not documentary) about the camp commandant and his family who lived just outside the walls of Auschwitz? ""The Zone of Interest" - Jonathan Glazer's film about the Auschwitz commandant - awarded the Grand Prix at Cannes Film Festival". The film is winning prizes:

https://www.auschwitz.org/en/museum/news/the-zone-of-interest-jonathan-glazers-film-about-the-auschwitz-commandant-awarded-the-grand-prix-at-cannes-film-festival,1617.html

"At the heart of the film is the portrayal of Rudolf Höss, the first commandant of the German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz (played by Christian Friedel). The film follows the daily family life of Höss, his wife Hedwig (played by Sandra Huller), and their children in a house with an idyllic garden located in close proximity to the camp but separated from it by a wall.... "I tell a story about the wall that separates the place of extermination from the idyllic garden. The wall shows how, for our own comfort, we disconnect ourselves from certain parts of our lives," explained Jonathan Glazer."

I'd say the insane Zionist government headed by insane psychopath Netanyahoo in Israel and those who support them and genocide (The US Gov't, the UK Gov't etc.etc.) are just beginning. Too much money to be made. And too much power (and money) in the hands of the few who wish to obliterate at least 7+ Billion of the 8+ billion on the planet and it still amazes me how few people actually realize this (and are soon to lose everything) is happening as they are mesmerized by the corporate owned/operated media. The propaganda is pervasive, massive, powerful.

The indifference to suffering all over the world is truly frightening to me. Here is the Guardian review of "The Zone of Interest" https://www.theguardian.com/film/2023/may/19/the-zone-of-interest-review-jonathan-glazer-adapts-martin-amiss-chilling-holocaust-drama

The reality depicted by the facts in this article reveal the official narrative to be a sham. The notion of a "two-state solution" for the Palestinians is not an effective point of difference between the Biden administration and Netanyahu: Gaza is in the process of being effectively ethnically cleansed, as a fait accompli. The process has already exceeded anything done by the Bosnian Serbs to the Bosnian Muslims, and it's on its way to approaching the Armenian genocide at the hands of the Turks.

'Growing Oct. 7 ‘truther’ groups say Hamas massacre was a false flag'

When she first heard about Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, Mirela Monte was “appalled.” The South Carolina real estate agent and self-described holistic healer detests violence and is horrified by war and human suffering.

But as Monte read more in Uncensored Truths, a Telegram group with 2,958 subscribers active on foreign policy and the supposed perils of vaccination, her shock turned to anger. According to the forum, the news reports were wrong: Secretly, Israel was behind the massacre.

"Armed with unique first-hand knowledge of the history of Zionism, Palestine, Israeli politics, Gaza, Hamas, the Israeli lobby, and congressional cravenness, Max Blumenthal and Miko Peled will explore the ongoing post-October 7th war in Gaza: Hamas, genocide, war crimes, the probable end game, the successes or failures of the IDF, the fate of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a one-state solution, a two-state solution, or indeterminate upheaval, the role and co-belligerency of the United States in the Israeli government’s freely confessed eagerness to exterminate Palestinians, the responsibility of American citizens for Israel’s war crimes, and the likely spread of the war to the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran risking nuclear exchanges. Max and Miko will unveil the massive de facto censorship that has rendered Palestinian viewpoints virtually inaudible in the establishment media amidst the daily thunder of Israeli propaganda.

The editor-in-chief of The Grayzone, Max Blumenthal is an award-winning journalist and the author of several books, including best-selling Republican Gomorrah, Goliath: Life & Loathing in Greater Israel, The Fifty-One-Day War, and The Management of Savagery.

A third-generation Israeli and an American citizen, Miko Peled is an author, writer, speaker, and human rights activist living in the United States. He is considered by many to be one of the clearest voices calling for justice in Palestine, support of the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) and the creation of a single democracy with equal rights in all of historic Palestine. In his memoir, The General’s Son, Journey of an Israeli in Palestine, Miko writes powerfully about how his human rights activism led him to reject Zionism.

We're all hostages everywhere in the world, being forced to watch this genocide as it's happening without being able to do much of anything to stop it. Most people just want to get on with their lives and ignore it as much as is possible. It's either that or drown in sorrow, anguish and despair. It takes strong people with a deep spiritual life to witness what is happening. It takes community, and there is so little of that remaining in our car culture.

I've admired the Houthis for doing something major to stop business from being carried on as usual. Their courage, their resourcefulness, their ability to strategize. And look how they're being bombed now! Punished for their audicity with their lives and limbs. This is a dark time. I admire your ability to write through all of this, Lisa, to persevere and to keep creating the narrative that can pierce the shields of indifference.

If peace activists can activate and engage more and more people, we will prove that the pen is mightier than the sword. You have to believe that seeking truth is like separating wheat from chaff. Truth is the highest quality of all of the verbiage available on the Internet. When people value truth and won't accept anything less to feed their minds and nourish their spirit, then writers like you will be truly appreciated. Well, that's enough metaphors for now.
