First time I have looked up substack moderation guidelines. I'm on the fence about whether to remove a user who's posting aggressively and including several lies about history of U.S. militarism (I majored in history) or remove a response I basically agree with politically but that indulges in some ugly name calling. In the end I think I'll respect everyone's free speech rights -- but if comments get more hostile than this I will have to regulate them.
Funny you didn't block traffic on October 7 as you listened to the radio and in real time heard about the close-range murder of 1200 people in Israel and the hostage-taking of 200.
But what do I expect from Portland, Maine? Land of let's let people live and defecate and shoot up in our woods and behind people's homes -- much kinder to them! And never mind the used needles everywhere -- the kids don't need to go out and play in the park.

Look up words like NAKBA, Genocide, apartheid, ethnic cleansing and Zionism. Research HISTORY before you open your mouth. READ or LISTEN to the ICJ ruling... particularly the Irish SA Lawyer's historic testimony!!

As long as false atrocity stories from October 7th are circulated, Israel will have an excuse to continue its massacre. We need to set the record straight once and for all.

You are obviously confusing Zionists with Jews. Zionists are slovenly indolent, godless landgrabbing thugs. Not only do they ignore Judaiac teachings, they dishonor them. Israel by all measures is a failed state. Israelis lack the work ethic to maintain self sufficiency and prefer a parasitic nation routinely begging arms, monies and diplomatic cover from their American benefactors just like some dysfunctional lazy spoiled child.
Actual Jews embrace the Holocaust as a cautionary lesson while Zionist's adopt it as a playbook. There are no 2 sides to this situation, you either oppose the extermination of innocent unarmed, men, women and children concentration camp inmates, or you suck as a human being.
Regardless of whatever political or religious gymnastics and acrobatics you employ to justify or rationalize to the contrary the International Courts have unambiguously decried the actions of Israel as Genocide. This puts you and your ilk on par with the Nazis that exterminated six million Jews. Your parents must be so proud.
